The Question Difficulty graph shows, for each question, the number of students who answered it correctly, the number who answered it incorrectly and the number of students who either didn't answer it or marked more than one choice for that question.

There is one Question Difficulty graph for each version of the test. The graph is ordered from the most difficult question (least number of students answering correctly) to the easiest question (highest number of students answering correctly).

The teacher may use this graph to, for example, quickly find the questions that most of the class had difficulty with and to teach certain topics again.

In the example below, Question 6 was the most difficult. Three students answered it correctly, seven answered it incorrectly while one student either did not answer it or selected multiple answers.

For free-response tests:

As in the case of multiple-choice tests, the Question Difficulty graph is ordered from the most difficult question (lowest average score percent) to the easiest question (highest average score percent).

The teacher may use this graph to, for example, quickly find the questions that most of the class had difficulty with and to teach certain topics again.
